Long Year...
One year ago today my grandmother passed. She was my best friend. In June, my buddy, Little Ricky died. My heart died with him. Words cannot not express the shear pain of it all. I won't even try.
A Schnoodle named Duffy came into my life. He's a handful. It took awhile for me to warm up to him, but we've officially bonded. I'll post pics soon.
It amazes me how much can happen over the course of one year. Three deaths, a best friend diagnosed with cancer, a major year long upheaval in my office are just to name a few. And old friend told me years ago, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Yeah well...strength takes time, but I survived. Stronger, maybe a little colder, certainly wiser...and definitely present.
